How can you take part in the European Capital of Democracy?

You will be able to take part in each stage of the process in several ways:

• 🎉 City events: We invite you to the events we will be organising in Barcelona and its metropolitan region from October 2023 to October 2024. Check out the programme (LINK) and SIGN UP TO IT!

• 🌐 International events: These are European and international events that are being organised in the city and its metropolitan region within the European Capital of Democracy framework. Come along and take part (Link to programme).

• 🔀 Fringe activities: Discover a whole host of activities, debates and conferences we have prepared for European Capital of Democracy year! (link to programme).

• 🤝  Participatory initiatives: These are deliberative citizen debate and participation processes that enable participants to define their positions on a specific issue. Are you curious to find out which ones are active? Enter now and take part.
