A conference is a collection of meetings arranged in a programme, with a number of people invited as speakers, and other information fields typical of large congresses or social events (registration, list of organisations that support or sponsor the event, etc.).
Examples: A conference can be a relevant event for an organization and its members, or take place as part of a participatory process or follow a consultation.
Introduction
As part of the European research project IINCITE-DEM, eco-union is organizing a workshop to reflect on how to improve democracy to make it more inclusive and participatory.
Details
In this workspace and idea exchange, we want to involve a heterogeneous group of citizens, representatives of the local civil society, and policymakers.
*Participation in the two-day workshop includes €70 compensation + lunch, snacks, and drinks.
*To participate, you must be of legal age and a resident of Barcelona.
*No prior training or knowledge of the subject is required.
The emocracy Labs are a new methodology being tested at the European level to improve democratic practices in the design and implementation of public policies. It is a creative process to generate democratic innovations proposed by the citizens themselves interacting with policymakers.
