A conference is a collection of meetings arranged in a programme, with a number of people invited as speakers, and other information fields typical of large congresses or social events (registration, list of organisations that support or sponsor the event, etc.).
Examples: A conference can be a relevant event for an organization and its members, or take place as part of a participatory process or follow a consultation.
Introduction
Two citizen participation days under the slogan "The right to participation: Exercising our political power".
Details
The main objectives of the days are:
To present the project "Let's Participate and Decide" which aims to promote the knowledge and use of citizen participation tools in all areas of the city and with all citizens.
To learn about various citizen participation experiences in the city: bodies, participatory processes, initiatives and citizen assemblies, ILPs, and other non-regulated tools and instruments.
To take stock of experiences, tools, and instruments, and to promote a working group with people interested in citizen participation to organize and work together in the Barcelona area.
To end the days with dinner and concerts, because if we can't dance, it's not our revolution.
1st session: Citizen participation experiences in Barcelona
