Introduction
Activity within the framework of ECoD and World Refugee Day.
Details
Within the framework of World Refugee Day and the Summer Film Series in the Square organized each summer by the Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera, the FICAT Foundation is organizing the screening of "Saber Sumud Palestine, Roots of a Land," a documentary filmed in Palestine by a group of Catalan brigadistas in the spring of 2017, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Six-Day War (1967). Before the screening, however, there will be a discussion with Jordi Palou, a peace activist, and Aritz Nafarroa, an expert on settler colonialism, on Nonviolent Resistance, and we will present the award for the IV Edition of the Foundation's Antiracist Poster Contest.
