Introduction
The Sant Gabriel School in Barcelona has organized debate sessions with Catalan youth that will revolve around various topics such as women and politics or AI in the classroom.
Details
Given that this year coincides with Barcelona being chosen as the European Democracy Capital, as well as the European Parliament elections, the Sant Gabriel School in Barcelona has organized an event from October 28 to 30 that will bring together young people from different parts of Catalonia. At the Youth Debates for Democracy, various topics that concern and affect them will be addressed, along with different activities that serve as a showcase to encourage voting and participation in democratic life. Throughout the event, the following activities are planned:
-Roundtables with experts to discuss the following topics:
Democracy and youth
Are our schools sustainable?
What can young people contribute to politics?
Women and politics
AI in the classroom
-School debates on democracy and youth, the SDGs...
-Exhibition of works and projects previously carried out by the participating schools on the themes worked on.
There are no open registrations, as all participants are already registered and are part of the European Parliament Ambassador Schools network.
